How it all started?
Who we are?
We are Sharon and Thomas, and we live in Moorslede, a village in Belgium. Animals are always been the biggest part of our lives. With dogs, we also own horses, pony's, Alpaca's, cats, chinchilla's and a cockatoo so our family is pretty colorful.
Right away when we met, we knew we want to get a dog, and our first mutual dog was a golden retriever named Angel. Angel carried our wedding rings in the town hall at our marriage. In this period we also started breeding chinchilla's and that knowledge was useful for us in future dog breeding plans.
Kaori the Akita
After the wedding, we bought our house and got our first Akita dog named Kaori. Kaori is a really special dog who feels emotions and is very intelligent.
From that point, we knew we wanted to breed group 5 but just weren't 100% sure which breed. We started attending dog shows and won amazing results. Kaori got 15 titles in her career, but sadly nature decided she couldn't have any puppies.
After searching for almost a year for the best Thai Bangkaew dogs we finally did it in 2015.
Choosing the right breed
There were many people interested in the Akita puppy. But we determined that many were also scared when they met Akita in real life because of their size and strong personality. Keeping that in mind, we started to search for a breed that has many similarities with the Akita.
We found a very interesting breed, still unknown to many, The Thai Bangkaew dog. Thai has the same type of look, is also intelligent, and every individual has its own character. What's even better, a Thai looks at his whole family with respect, while Akita has respects only his owner.
Manee & Kwanthai
In 2015 we got our first two Bangkaew puppies and these were Manee and Kwanthai. We wanted the type of Thai's with nice heads, many colors, and compact body. We still can't thank Uthen Pholbun and Kornpop enough for this opportunity they gave us.
Our first litter
In 2017 we bred our first litter. This was the first Thai Bangkaew litter ever Born in Belgium. The litter had 4 females and 2 males. 1 male (Quthai) returned to Thailand in co-ownership with Uthen to expand the bloodlines and try developing the breed even more. Quma (one of the females) stayed with us. She soon became Junior World champion.

These days
In the past four years, we bred several Thai Bangkaew litters. Manee and Kwanthai won several titles and both became European Champions. The new generations of the "No Go Rising Sun" puppies have much potential to become great champions too.
